As the Lenten Season is upon us:  "Lent in 2011 will start on Wednesday, the 9th of March and will continue for 46 days until Saturday, the 23rd of April. March 13,  is the first Sunday in Lent.

    Communion Benevolent Contribution First Sunday of the Month
    This Sunday March 6, 2011 is a Communion Sunday, please note there will be a special contribution to the Communion benevolent offering every first Sunday of the month, as  a church, lets work together to help the needy among us. 

    •        SPRINGARAMA:  Canada East Free Methodist Women conference will be at Kingston, Ontario, Ambassador Hotel from April 8, 9, & 10, 2011 please speak to Sister Edna  Lawes @ 905 452 8207 or check the notice board in the foyer
    • Tax receipts for last year were ready  Sunday  Feb 27, 2011, please remember to take yours after church this week end.  Thanks for your co-operation.

    •   Special Tellers Meeting Saturday March 12,2011:
    o      There will be a special meeting for all  BFMC Tellers on Saturday March 12, 2011 @10:00am     .at the church, please mark your calendar.
    • Our Daily Bread Booklet for March, April & May 2011 were available in the foyer since last Sunday Feb27,2011 please do not forget to pick one this weekend. 
    • BFMC Board says THANK YOU to all of you who are working hard behind the scene during this transition time, we are bless to have each other. God bless you all, is all about Him. 
    • BFMC Scholarship Application:  Grant : Two candidates for $500. each, total $1000.00               
    •  We at Bramalea Free Methodist Church, always encourage our children to endeavor into post-secondary education.  Having developed their spiritual growth here, we understand that they will need to develop their academic growth at various Free Methodist and/or public post-secondary institutions.  To facilitate this need, we are offering those candidates who qualify with a $500.00 educational grant for the current school year.  For more detail information, please see the notice board in the foyer, also you can speak to Brother Emmauel Mantey @ 905 216 5027 and Sister France Wright @ 647 866-5404

     Sunday School Available:
    • Sunday School & Nursery are encouraging everyone with young children to bring their little ones downstairs during service, so that they can get familiar with the Sunday school surroundings and programs.  It will make it easier for them to attend as they get older.  Thanks for your understanding and co-operation.
    Taking Good Care  Of Our Blessings:
    • BFMC is asking everyone with young children to take extra care to watch over them  when they choose to stay upstairs in the Sanctuary,  in the foyer  or any other place on BFMC premises, during any church activities, because their safety is our first priority and also because some of the children are destroying the visitors cards, writing and drawing in the Hymns Books, the Bibles and the offering envelopes in the pew,  which is costing us all,  please let’s take good care of  our blessing and the church.  Thanks for your understanding and co-operation.
    • Our food barrel is depleted. Help us by bringing food items so that we can provided needed assistance to individuals and families.
    • The Sermon CDs  for the previous Sunday's are available for a donation of $2.00. Please see the Audio/Video representatives for your copy.
    Pastoral Task Force Updates - Announcement
    • The Pastoral Task Force will make their final announcement this Sunday March 6, 2011 during church service.    
    • Lost & Found Basket- Please note: There is a lost & found basket in the foyer, please drop in any item found on the BFMC premises, please check it out this Sunday.  Thanks

    Harvest in Sierra Leone - Free Methodist Churches support Tear Fund Canada in providing emergency relief, community development and compassionate response. In partnership with our Bishop's emergency fund, we can take advantage of Government of Canada matching funds to respond to world wide emergencies.
