Lent is a season that reminds us to repent and get our lives centered, our priorities straight, and our hearts clean. This holy season offers us a new chance to say, "yes" to the Lover of our Souls who created us, who made us in his own image. Lent is the time for a restoration project that will reveal the beauty of God’s design for us, showing once again the scale, proportion, and priorities intended by our Maker.


"Lent in 2011 will start on Wednesday, the 9th of March and will continue for 46 days until Saturday, the 23rd of April.
March 13,  is the first Sunday in Lent, please Watch and Pray.

·        Please pray for Mr & Mrs Hitchman and family,  Brother Trevor cousin Louise Thomas pass away last Thursday March 3rd at Brampton Civic Hospital
·        Our Daily Bread Booklet for March, April & May 2011 were available in the foyer since  Feb27,2011 please do not forget to pick one this weekend.

  • From The Hospitality Team - Refreshment after Church Service on Sundays is provided downstairs.  Hospitality Team are encouraging members to eat their food downstairs or take it to their cars but Do Not bring any food upstairs in the foyer or in the Sanctuary.  Thanks for your co-operation and understanding.
·         BFMC Scholarship Application:  Grant : Two candidates for $500. each, total $1000.00             
    • We at Bramalea Free Methodist Church, always encourage our children to endeavor into post-secondary education.  Having developed their spiritual growth here, we understand that they will need to develop their academic growth at various Free Methodist and/or public post-secondary institutions.  To facilitate this need, we are offering those candidates who qualify with a $500.00 educational grant for the current school year.   For more detail information, please see the notice board in the foyer, also you can speak to Brother Emmauel Mantey @ 905 216 5027 and Sister France Wright @ 647 866-5404

·         Sunday School Program - For more information please call Sister Frances Wright @ 647 866- 5404   &   Sister Marcia Lowe@ 905 654-1751. Sunday School & Nursery are encouraging everyone with young children to bring their little ones downstairs during service, so that they can get familiar with the Sunday school surroundings and programs.  It will make it easier for them to attend as they get older.  Thanks for your understanding and co-operation.
·         OUR CHILDREN- Taking Good Care  Of Our Blessings: BFMC is asking everyone with young children to take extra care to watch over them  when they choose to stay upstairs in the Sanctuary,  in the foyer  or any other place on BFMC premises, during any church activities, because their safety is our first priority and also because some of the children are destroying the visitors cards, writing and drawing in the Hymns Books, the Bibles and the offering envelopes in the pew,  which is costing us all,  please let’s take good care of  our blessing and the church.  Thanks for your understanding and co-operation.
·         Our food barrel is depleted. Help us by bringing food items so that we can provided needed assistance to individuals and families.
·          The Sermon CDs  for the previous Sunday's are available for a donation of $2.00. Please see the Audio/Video representatives for your copy.

  SPECIAL NEWS MARCH 6, 2011
New Pastor Appointed at BFMC, Brampton
  • Bishop Keith Elford of the Free Methodist Church in Canada has announced the appointment of a pastor to Bramalea Free Methodist Church. Rev. Rusty Crozier has been appointed as Lead Pastor, beginning his ministry on May 15, 2011.  Most recently he has been serving as pastor at Westport, Ontario, Free Methodist Church, north of Kingston.

    Let us pray for God's blessing on Pastor Crozier as he begins his ministry at Bramalea FMC. 
  • BFMC Board and Members welcomes Pastor Crozier and family in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ and we look forward to worshiping and working with them.
A copy of the letter of appointment will be posted on the BFMC notice board in the foyer this Sunday, for those of the members who were absent Sunday March 6, 2011 when the letter was read to have a chance to read it too.
